MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS BASE ALBANY, Ga. — Dougherty Comprehensive High School Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer’s Training Corps cadets visited Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, Wednesday. During their visit, they navigated the obstacle course, toured the housing area, Marine Corps Exchange and other sites available to Marines and their families. Several Marines from various tenant commands on base demonstrated how to properly maneuver their way through the obstacle course, which included climbing over a wall and up a rope at the end of the course. The purpose of the course is to build life skills and test Marines’ ability to overcome obstacles they may face as a Marine both personally and physically.
